Back Door Visitor

We had a visitor today. Kyle came to town for his new business (http://www.thehaylevator.com/) and brought a horse with him. We were so worried about what our neighbors would say (since it is slightly illegal to have a horse in your yard). But our neighbor stopped Kyle on the street before he had even parked and asked if he would like to put the horse in her back yard! We are not too worried now. Our dog, Rose, is convinced she must protect us from this large intruder. Unfortunately, no one told the horse, Leroy, he should be terrified of Rose. The girls are having a great time opening the door to pet Leroy and talk to him. Leroy just wants to come in where it is air conditioned.

I do hate to think of the poop scooping waiting for us tomorrow! It will be Annalee's turn (read, Kris and Sharon), so Kyle will be dually threatened before this goes too far! At least we won't need to mow for another week!

The Krahnicles

I am entering the world of blogging! My friend Katy has berated me into this, and while I may not make daily posts, I am going to attempt to be regular (read weekly) about posting to this site. I hope you enjoy our entries (this will be a family affair) and will let us hear from you as you keep up with our goings on.

We are getting ready to enter into a busy school year. We are embarking on home school co-op for the first time ever. This is a "school" that meets one day each week and will take care of most of their academic subjects for the year. I will be teaching Biology for the co-op. Our hope is that this will ease up the organizational nightmare at home for this school year. I will begin my internship with Dr. Cutler of BioSET in a few weeks and will be required to make about 10 trips in the next year. So we are very hopeful about co-op taking a huge load off our school life.

Emma and Katie are well into their volleyball season and we will begin posting pictures and scores soon. Cynthia and Annalee do not care so much about the volleyball games as they do about playing with all of the other younger siblings at the games.

Thanks for joining us and I look forward to your comments!
